Students chose two objects and drew each step of a 7 stage theoretical metamorphosis! They came up with very creative ideas!
The purpose of this blog is to display artwork created by the talented students who make up the OCS High School Art Program. God has given us the ability to create and these students do it well!

Art 2: Tape Sculptures
Art 2 students used only tape to make these sculptures in the round! Students worked in groups of 2 to complete each sculpture. We had a lot of fun making them!
Typography Rhythm Project
Art 1 students have been studying rhythm, pattern, and movement. For their rhythm project, students made an actual stamp of their thumb print, studied it, and recreated a larger version out of implied lines. The implied lines consisted of lyrics, verses, life stories, and other things that told about the student who created it! I loved getting to learn about my students and see into their hearts!

Art 3: Plaster Sculptures
Art 3 students spent the past two weeks casting their plaster and then sculpting it! This was the first time for these students to use this medium! They did a great job and worked so hard to complete these on time!
