Art 2: Torn Paper Project
For the past few weeks, Art 2 students have spent a lot of time looking through magazines, tearing out certain colors, and gluing those torn pieces of paper in order to create an image using only torn paper! These projects were done on 22" x 30" paper! This was a very time consuming and tedious project, but the students worked hard and it paid off!

Watercolor Leaves
For the past few days Art 1 students have been working on a watercolor project. Students observed a leaf and then drew their own. Students then cut out their leaves and traced/overlapped them to create an interesting collage. Different techniques, such as flicking water and sprinkling salt onto the wet paint, were used to create texture. For most students, this was the first time they had ever used watercolor paint. It was fun to see how much they enjoyed this medium!
