Before beginning our chapter on line, students experimented with lines in order to complete this project. Students also used shading and highlights to help give the illusion that the shapes are 3D!
Art 2- Art Communicates
After discussing the ways that artists use art to communicate different messages to the viewer, students chose a word that they wanted to communicate to their own viewer(s). Using sign language, students drew their word and then provided their own illustration to emphasize it!
